When you're ready to move a card, Swap matches you with other collectors — every card on both sides valued by the same engine. The difference is math, not opinion, so nobody's guessing who got the better end of the deal.
Both cards read from the same marks you'd see anywhere else on PullBinder, so the gap is visible and the cash settles it. Below is how a trade goes from proposal to done.
Both sides, the same engine.
Every card in a Swap — yours and theirs — is valued the exact same way, with the same range and the same sample size behind it. There's no "my card's a 10, yours is a 7." The numbers come from the same source, so the only thing left to agree on is the gap, and that's just arithmetic.
Propose, and counter.
Put cards on both sides of the table and send it. They can accept, decline, or counter — add a card, drop one, or adjust the cash that evens it out. Every version shows the running balance, so at each step you both see exactly who owes what.
Talk it through, in the thread.
Every proposal has a conversation attached. Ask about condition, share a photo, work out shipping — all tied to the trade itself, so nothing important lives in a DM someone forgets to screenshot.
Both confirm, then it's done.
A trade only completes when both sides confirm — never on one person's say-so. Once it's locked, the cards move between your ledgers with their marks intact, so your cost basis and P&L stay correct on the other side of the trade.
Every trade builds a reputation.
Completed trades and reviews add up to a track record other collectors can see before they deal with you. Trade fairly and it shows; the people worth trading with rise to the top on their history, not their username.
The mark is a starting line, not a verdict.
Swap values both cards the same way so the comparison is fair — but a trade is still yours to make. If a card means more to you than its mark, trade for it anyway. We show you the numbers and get out of the way; we don't take a cut, and we don't decide the deal.
